Why Wood?
- Lot of reasons. It’s pretty, smells good, easy to work with, natural, durable, feels nice, etc. But first and foremost when shaped appropriately wood is great to train on. The fibers of natural wood give it many advantages over plastic. It can be sanded to a smooth, polished granite like surface or a rough, soft surface with more grip than untouched sandstone jugs. During hard training sessions it can absorb moisture from your palms and stay grippy. When the texture wears out, a light sanding can instantly bring it back to life. Nature knew what is was doing, because quite frankly, wood is just better than plastic for climbing.

What wall angles are the holds shaped for?
- The Mana workshop has walls at 15 and 40 degrees. Thus, I usually shape with these angles in mind. The holds are usuable at both angles and obviously more challenging on steeper terrain.
- If you have a wall steeper then 50 degrees overhung, send a message when you place your order and let me know. I will shape them more positive for your wall.
How do "Made to Order Sets" work?
- Every hold is hand made and unique.
- Although unique, every hold belongs to a set. Every set has similar size holds with similar edges that climb in a similar style.
- Select the set you want (Bolt On or Set Screw Only), pick the wood and finish you want, and Mana will get to work!
Can you make custom sets?
- Yes, if you have a custom set or specific order in mind, but you don't see it offered on the site, please send me a message and we can discuss.

- Instock holds typically ship within 1-7 days
- Made to order sets typically ship within 1-4 weeks
- We currently only ship to the United States and Europe
- If you would like to place an order, but we do not offer shipping to your country, please send a message and we will work to get you holds.
Do I get a guarantee?
- I guarantee that every hold sold is a hold I personally would love to climb on, train on, and have on my home wall. And yes, I would even pay for them, if I didn't already have a garage full of them.
Well thats nice, but what if I am not happy with the holds?
- Just send them back for a full refund. Minus the return shipping.
